The Role.

Credit Control is a critical part of a well-managed business, you’ll ensure that revenue and credit owed to the Company is paid in a timely and accurate manner.  You’ll assess and manage the business credit risk by ensuring new customers are thoroughly vetted.

What you’ll do:

• Proactively contact customers, primarily by telephone, in regard to payments to ensure invoice processing and payment has been scheduled; plan and prioritize customer calls regularly to maximise collections on the largest open invoices.
• Work with Financial Controller to determine when accounts should be placed on hold.
• Produce and complete weekly credit control reports.
• Maintain on finance systems all debt collector call information.
• Raise manual invoices periodically and run statements and reminders when required.
• Liaise with other Finance teams to resolve customer invoice queries.
• Log, review and monitor customer complaints, copy invoice requests.
• Various ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by Financial Controller.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Experience of working in a credit control department
• Experience using accounts packages and MS Office
• Experience of working in a fast-moving environment with the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships
